Visa Requirements

To work in New Zealand, it’s crucial to have the correct visa. Here are some options:
  1. Student Visa:
    • Global English World is a Category 1 school.
    • Enrolling in a 14-week or more full-time course allows you to get a 20-hour per week work permit.
  2. Working Holiday Visa: Allows you to work while traveling in New Zealand.
  3. Work Visa: Provides the ability to work in New Zealand but is subject to specific conditions.
  4. Visitor Visa: Note that working is not permitted on a Visitor Visa.

Minimum Wage

As of April 1, 2024, the minimum wage in New Zealand is $23.15 per hour.
